Our Story
Featherhorn Farm started in 2003 with an original parcel of 115 acres. Faith, aspiration, and hard work has turned it into the special piece of property you see today. Featherhorn now consists of 2,200 acres of managed property encompassing ag fields, hardwood bottoms, planted pines, natural swamp land, naturally regenerated timber, 12 duck impoundments, competitive five stand, sporting clays course, main lodge, guide shack, outdoor bar, 10 guest cabins, and several barns throughout the property.

Featherhorn is proud to say that it is a family oriented operation. Founder Jimmy Lee was raised in Pinewood, SC and developed an intimate connection with the area at a young age. After a stint of managing Dogwood Plantation and working as a contractor in ATL, GA he moved his family back to South Carolina. For years Featherhorn was a daily commute from his home in Sumter, SC. Jimmy Lee and his family now call Featherhorn home.

Over the years the Featherhorn family has grown to include the many guests that have been a part of its story. “We are grateful for all of the hunters, shooters, property owners, newlyweds, business owners, and especially youngsters that we have had the opportunity to acquaint ourselves with. We wish for Featherhorn to be a Southern icon for outdoor enjoyment.” Check out the site for everything Featherhorn has to offer.
